Description Antique Thomas Bavaria Hand Paint Cake Plate With Handles Pattern: Mes Favoris - From the Sevres Series Signed By Artist: Albert (John? - not sure of second name) See photo #8 Dates: 1905-1908 based on Maker's Mark Hand Painted Cluster of White, Red & Pink Roses with Green & Brownish-Gold Leaves - Shadow images in Gray. Gold accent around handles and embossed heart-shaped leaves/vine around handles that is not highlighted. Measures: 9 5/8"diameter (10 1/4" with handles) x 1 1/4"tall Flat Center Measures: 6 1/4"diameter Weighs: 1 lb, 2.2 oz Maker's Mark: Early Thomas & Ens Logo on Shield .. "Sevres" Bavaria ... Mes favoris .... Hand Painted Condition: Very good antique condition! A few very faint cut/use marks, though hard to see. There is a pin-head size spot (production flaw) in the dark green area near the signature lower left corner (see photo #8). No chips, cracks, crazing or other damage.
